Cancellations or Changes by Us
Sometimes, circumstances beyond our control (e.g., political unrest, natural events, airline changes) may require adjustments.

Transfer to another available tour, or

Receive a full refund.

The Sankofa Foundation is not responsible for flights, visas, vaccinations, or personal expenses outside of the tour package.
Travel Requirements

Valid passport (must be valid 6+ months after return date)

Required visas and vaccinations (traveler responsibility; guidance will be provided)
Insurance
All travelers are responsible for their own travel insurance covering:

Trip cancellation/interruption

Lost or stolen belongings
Proof of insurance is required 30 days before departure.
Responsibilities & Safety

Respect local laws, customs, and tour leader guidance.

Complaints & Disputes

Report issues to the tour leader immediately for resolution.

If unresolved, submit a written complaint within 30 days of returning home.
